Hacienda Development Sees Another Banner Year in 2000 with New Office Space, Apartments, More

PeopleSoft's new campus came alive this year as construction was completed. The buildings feature striking, glass-enclosed stairwells.

Two of Lincoln Centre's three buildings are nearly complete.

Britannia VIII will provide additional space for Robert Half International.

The steel skeleton of the third building of Lincoln Centre takes shape.

The land is graded for Charter Property's latest development on Willow Road.

Steel has been placed on-site for the SafeAmerica Credit Union project, at the corner of Chabot and Gibraltar drives.

Hacienda continued its rapid rate of development in 2000 as over 500,000 square feet of office space was completed, in addition to a 540-unit apartment complex and a middle school.

Currently under construction is another 390,644 square feet. Leasing activity was particularly strong last year. Over 1.25 million square feet was absorbed in Hacienda in 2000, leaving the overall vacancy rate at 1.2 percent.
